Honoring Charlie Kirk: How One “Yes” to God Sparked a Generation for Faith and Liberty

It has been nearly a month since we honored the life of a truly great American, Charlie Kirk. Hundreds of thousands gathered in person and millions watched online as some of the most powerful and influential leaders in the world paid tribute to him.

What stood out most to me was not the size of the event but the message. Yes, there were mentions of Charlie’s incredible work in the political space with Turning Point USA. But one truth rose above the rest.

His faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Charlie understood that the source of true liberty comes from our Heavenly Father. He believed that if he could inspire a generation of young people to stand firm for liberty, they would eventually find its source in the Lord.

And that is exactly what he did. The fruit speaks for itself. The Gospel is being proclaimed in places we have prayed over for years and a new generation is awakening to truth, freedom, and faith.

It is easy in moments like this to feel lost or unsure of how you can make an impact on our country. One question I have been asked many times is, Who will be the next Charlie Kirk?

The truth is, there will never be another Charlie Kirk. His boldness, conviction, and unwavering devotion to God’s call were uniquely his.

But while no one can replace Charlie, each of us can carry forward the mission he championed. After much prayer and reflection, my conclusion is simple. The answer to that question, who will rise to make an impact now, is you.

Just like Charlie, you have been called to stand firm for truth at this critical moment in our nation. The real question is whether you will say “yes.”

You may feel insignificant or believe you do not have a platform. Charlie did not have one either when he began. He simply said “yes” to the call of the Lord, stepped onto a college campus with two chairs and a folding table, and God turned that small beginning into a movement that has reached millions for liberty and the Kingdom.

Since Charlie’s passing, Turning Point USA has received more than fifty four thousand new chapter requests across the nation. To put that in perspective, Charlie’s lifetime goal was twenty thousand chapters.

The results of Charlie’s yes will be felt for generations to come.

So let me ask you this. What has the Lord been asking you to say yes to? What has been stirring in your spirit that you have been afraid to step into?

You may feel small, but your yes could be the spark that ignites a revolution in our nation and leads millions to the Lord.

It happened for Charlie, and I believe it can happen for you.

Do not lose hope. Do not grow weary. Be strong and courageous. Move forward each day in your calling. No step is too small and no action is too insignificant.

Your yes matters more than you know.
